Configura wraps first CET Designer® North American User Conference

Conference to be an annual event; next conference slated for fall 2009 in Las Vegas
Thank you to the nearly 100 guests for attending and sharing at the Configura CET Designer® User Conference in early October! The two-day event at The Luxor in Las Vegas exceeded our expectations, and we’re thankful to all of those who could be a part of it.

The conference was free to attendees.

“We want feedback from our users – and offering the conference for free was a way of saying ‘thank you.’ Our users are truly our partners in making CET Designer the leading design-spec-ordering tool,” Configura Marketing Director Johan Bengtsson said.

We’re already planning next year’s conference – also to be held in Las Vegas, with exact dates and venue to be announced soon.

Welcome, Spacefile!

Configura, maker of CET Designer, has signed Spacefile International Corp. as its newest manufacturing client and has begun developing a custom Extension loaded with Spacefile products. The Extension, Spacefile Spacetools, will be available to Spacefile dealers and designers this spring.

“We heard dealers and other manufacturers describe CET Designer as a tool to communicate – a total solution – and we saw evidence of that when we visited the Configura booth at NeoCon,” Spacefile President John Harkness said. “That was pivotal point – seeing not only the product in action, but also Configura the company, and the people.”

Spacefile, one of the leading manufacturers of high-density storage systems, has been serving customers for more than 40 years. Spacefile products are used in various commercial, institutional and industrial applications, including for customized filing and mobile/mechanical high-density storage solutions.

“What we make is only limited to the ideas our clients bring us,” Harkness said.

 

Spacefile also provides complementary solutions to contract furniture manufacturers who don’t already make storage products.

“If we are not a competitor to a particular manufacturer, we can provide a ‘fill the floor’ solution that they, in turn, can offer to their customers,” Harkness said.
